NAU! PLUS+ CONTACT LENSES

NAU! PLUS+ contact lenses guarantee extremely high levels of comfort for users. As a matter of fact, in addition to hyaluronic acid – an ultra-hydrating molecule that we’ve all heard of – in PLUS+ lenses we’ve also added a new molecule, TSP®.

TSP® is a natural polymer extracted from tamarind seeds which, thanks to its molecular structure, ensures excellent mucoadhesive properties that enable it to form a durable coating, providing stable protection for the corneal surface by improving the stability of the precorneal film, without creating excessive viscosity. The combined effect of these two molecules guarantees better, longer-lasting hydration for the eye: 10 hours more hydration than any other lens in the target market segment.

PLUS+ solutions also feature the double molecule - hyaluronic acid + TSP® - to ensure correct maintenance so that lens performance remains unchanged throughout its half-life.

Features

  • Maximum comfort thanks to the power of hyaluronic acid combined with the properties of TSP®
  • High oxygen-carrying capacity
  • UV protection
  • Uniform distribution of thicknesses

Benefits

  • High performance in terms of comfort, even with prolonged use (10 hours more hydration than any other lens)

USE AND MAINTENANCE DAILY LENSES

The contact lenses are intended, for the optical correction of ametropies and where specified presbyopia.

RECOMMENDED USAGE:
It is recommended to change your contact lenses daily.

HANDLING THE LENSES:
Wash and dry your hands carefully before handling the lenses, and make sure that they are not inside out; never use the lenses if they have been damaged in any way.

LENS INSERTION:
Do not apply make-up until you have inserted your lenses. To avoid mixing up your lenses, insert them one by one. Make sure the lens is not inside out before insertion. Place the lens on your index finger to verify shape. Using your other hand’s index finger and second finger hold up the upper lid and hold down the lower lid. Place the lens on the eye. Repeat this step for the other eye. For any doubt please contact your eye specialist.

LENS REMOVAL:
Look up and hold down the lower lid. Using your index fingertip and thumb tip to gently pinch the lens off the eye. Repeat this step for the other eye. For any doubt please contact your eye specialist.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISINFECTING THE LENSES:
Your specialist can recommend the most suitable rinsing, cleaning and disinfecting procedure in your particular case, which must be done according to the manufacturer's instructions.

THERAPEUTIC USE
Contact lenses without refractive power (0.00D) might be also indicated for therapeutic use. Use as a bandage contact lens for corneal protection and corneal pain relief during treatment of ocular pathologies as well as post-surgical conditions. Strictly follow your specialist instructions for the therapeutic use.

UV BLOCK
Contact lenses including UV protection may not replace sunglasses because they do not completely cover the entire eye anterior segment. Therefore, contact lenses wearers must continue to bring sunglasses when exposed to UV rays.

PRECAUTIONS
Never store the lenses in a saline solution because it does not protect them from harmful contaminations; do not re-use a lens; do not use the products beyond their use-by date. Use cosmetics, soaps, creams and aerosols with care because they can irritate the eyes. Smoke increases the risk of ulcerative keratitis. Inform your employer that you wear contact lenses. In the event of any eye discomfort, remove the contact lenses and see your specialist. Do not sleep wearing contact lenses because this poses the risk of keratitis. Keep out of children’s reach.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use the lenses in any of the following situations: infections, inšammation, allergies or any disorders aŸecting the cornea, conjunctiva or eyelids, ocular dryness, damaged lenses, dirty lenses, sensation of irritation or pain in the eye.
